South Carolina AFL-CIO and JwJ March to Delivery a Message

In Georgetown, South Carolina over 60 South Carolina AFL-CIO and Jobs with Justice members marched to Verizon Wireless to deliver a message to management.

The delegation filed up the small store completely with dozens of people still outside.

The store manager refused to take the letter the delegation tried to delivery and stated that he would not talk with them until they went outside.

Instead of meeting the group outside the manger called the police.

The store manager refused to take the letter from the South Carolina AFL-CIO and Jobs with Justice and would only talk with the police. The police brought a sticky note from the manager with the name and address of someone who would be able to touch our letter.

Before leaving the police informed us of our right to protest.
